Emily and Evan spent the months leading up to their wedding getting ready for a reception at Emily’s family farm, the same location her parents had their wedding reception 30+ years ago. Emily wore a champagne colored gown and Evan a navy suit. Together, they made a stunning pair. After an emotional first look, they spent the time prior to the ceremony having communion together – a quiet time in the midst of a busy wedding day.
Following their beautiful ceremony, the bridal party and guests headed to the farm to enjoy the reception. We were able to steal Emily and Evan for portraits at the farm during the first part of cocktail hour (check out those beautiful North Dakota wheat fields!) and then again for sunset photos during the reception. Evan’s band entertained the crowd by singing several songs during the reception. And finally, the night was made complete with a fireworks display.
So much thought and effort went into coordinating this flawless day. We couldn’t be happier for Emily and Evan to begin married life together and are so glad we got to be a small part of their day. Huge congrats to this special couple!
