For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.
Tom and I are really excited to introduce our baby boy, Judd, to you. He was born on St. Patrick’s Day, March 17th, and life hasn’t been the same since. We are so blessed that he is healthy and happy, something we never want to take for granted. After going through the 40+ weeks of pregnancy, I continue to be amazed at the miracle of a healthy baby. I’m so thankful that God entrusted us with little Judd.
Another thing I’m thankful for is that Tom was able to be home for two weeks as we adjusted to our new routine. Not surprisingly, he’s a great dad. I even managed to go a whole week without doing a single diaper change thanks to Tom 🙂 We’ve been up together for every feeding and diaper change, tag-teaming the duties and being supportive of each other as we learn to be parents together.
These photos are from the hospital the morning we were discharged. Of course, we had to bring our camera with to capture this special time in our lives. I’m still amazed that this is our baby and am so thankful for his life. Enjoy a peek into Judd’s life at three days new.
