One of the reasons I love photography is the power of story telling. I truly believe a photo is worth a thousand (or two!) words. Photos have the power to transcend language, culture, and background to tell the story. We are moved by what we SEE with our own eyes.
It’s all about capturing moments, so that years from now, your kids can look back on pictures like this. These photos are of my mom and her family on a vacation to Oregon in the 1960’s. How cool are these? I can see my mom’s funky glasses, my Grandpa Clifford’s crazy plaid shorts and the family dog, Tippy.
I love these two photos, but I love them even more because that’s my family.
